Meet the farmeRS
Sasha Wolfe
Sasha (they/them) has been managing Hocus Pocus Farm since 2020, and working on small farms in the Northeast since 2014. They love growing and playing with flowers, listening to the bees in the anise hyssop patch, and sharing a warm, ripe melon with a pal. They are learning about the magic of bringing people together through land and food. They are interested in anti-Zionist, diasporic, Jewish agricultural land practices and regional seed saving to grow more resilient plants in this time of climate disaster.
Marlee Blasenheim
Marlee (she/her) has been working as a farmer and educator since 2010, and she began farming with Hocus Pocus in 2023. She is forever grateful to be a participant in the exchange of knowledge, food, inspiration, and care that land-based work facilitates. She loves the lingering smell of herbs on her hands, learning about new bugs, and absolutely everything tomato-related.
