ice cream share
Lazuli joins Hocus Pocus for the first time this season (!). They started making strange ice creams at home a couple years back and now have too many ideas not to share.
Lazuli's ice cream is made using only locally-sourced organic eggs & milk, plus seasonal ingredients either foraged, grown themselves or traded with friends.
Your ice cream share will include one pint per week for 16 weeks at a sliding scale of $128-240 (equiv. to $8-15/pint). Flavors might include (subj. to change): beeswax, spring pea, elderflower lemon, fresh tulsi, young ginger lime, beach rose hibiscus, hot honey corn, brie blueberry, + MORE!!
You can find Lazuli @ Gentle Time Farm and reach them by email at lazuli.liu@pm.me.
Note: all flavors are NOT vegan but are nut-free. Please email with any allergies and flavor no-no's before May 1stββ
Thank you to our farm/ingredient partners: Gentle Time, Hawthorne Valley, Hocus Pocus, Night Garden, Ayni, and the wilderness of the Hudson Valley and Rhode Island shores.
~ About your ice cream maker:
Lazuli is a mixed-race veg farmer and poet. They love to tinker in the glitchy, lively places here on Earth -- diaspora, ecosystem, memory, broken language, etc. In all their practices working with land, food, & art, they are devoted to indulgence and wonder. When they're not farming, they play like an animal, go camping, and watch movies. They have questions, friends, and love the color green. ~
